Abstract:
The objectives of this study were 1) to analyze environmental structures affecting on duckweed yield, 2) to innovate environmental technology for the production of duckweed and 3) to evaluate utilization of environmental technology for the production of duckweed. This research carried out 5 experiments to confirm environmental structures affecting on duckweed yield, 2 experiments to confirm materials for innovation of environmental technology for the production of duckweed and 1 experiment to efficiency test of environmental technology for the production of duckweed. The methodology of this research covered writing guidebook of technology for the production of duckweed, preliminary use by technological enthusiasts and evaluating acceptance of environmental technology for the production of duckweed. The results found that the hardware of environmental technology for the production of duckweed consisted of stacking of 2 circling cement pond (100 x 40 cm) which was covered insider by dark plastic sheet (4.5 x 6.0 m). The
top was covered by 50% controlling light netting for the light intensity over than 20,000 Lux. The cap between top of container and controlling light netting was 5 cm. The software of environmental technology for the production of duckweed consisted of consisted of startup duckweed's weight (100 g), production period (15 days), water level (20 cm), pH (5.5-6.5), EC (0.77 mS/cm). The utilization evaluating of environmental technology for the production of duckweed founded that technological acceptance was level 5 adoptation.
