Abstract:
The objectives of this study are 1. to explore the preparation for starting the business of the teacher civil servants in 7 areas and the knowledge and understanding of the business model 9 components of the retired teacher civil servants having their own businesses 2. to explore the preparation for starting the business of the teacher civil servants in 7 areas and the knowledge and understanding of the business model 9 elements of the teacher civil servants who want to be entrepreneurs after retirement and 3. to develop a model for preparing for entrepreneurship after retirement of teacher civil service. This is a mixed research in a model according to the research operation process. By doing qualitative and followed by quantitative. Qualitative data were collected for at least 5 persons or until the data was saturated. By using Triangulation Technique and data from a questionnaire of 300 people were analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. And use Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) as an analysis to explore and identify common factors. By research results It was found that the preparation for entrepreneurship after retirement of the teacher civil servants in the eastern region has 3 groups of teacher civil servants prepare for entrepreneurship as follows: The balanced management factor 4 aspects, the factors of health and quality of life 3 aspects and knowledge and understanding in a business model, which of these 3 groups represent the preparation for entrepreneurship after retirement of the Eastern teacher civil service.
