Development of Knowledge in Innovation for the Sufficiency Economy Model Case study Ban Sai Or, Village 1, Sai Or Subdistrict, Non Thai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the process of knowledge management of model suf-ficiency economy villages, to study conditions/factors affecting the success of model sufficiency economy villages, and to develop innovations in knowledge management of model sufficiency economy villages. This study is a research using a qualitative research methodology. The data were analyzed according to the case study methodology.The results of the research showed that: 1) a study of the knowledge management process of a model village of sufficiency economy focused on the area of Village No. 1, Ban Sai Or, Non Thai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province consisted (1) moderation through activities to promote vegetable gardening at the household level; (2) rationality through community stage activities at the village level; (3) having good immunity through activities to promote household accounting; (4) to create a body of knowledge in the community through learning activities for the transmission of traditional local wisdom of the community; and (5) Adhering to moral principles in the community through activities to encourage people in the community to reduce, stop, and quit gambling. 2) Conditions/factors affecting the success of the model sufficiency economy village can be divided into 2 factors: (1) factors within the community such as the culture of the community, local wisdom, community leaders, community economic system, natural resources, and the environment of the community, (2) external factors such as the promotion of government agencies, and 3) the development of knowledge management innovations in the form of process-level innovations in knowledge management through an innovative manual development on the knowledge management process of the Sufficiency Economy village model.
