Abstract:
This study is conducted in three sub districts (comprise of Muang Waan, Koksoong in Khonkaen province and Bunlang in Nakhonratchasimaprovince) to explore a comparative adaptation on adopting of various alternative energy technologies before and after the extension programs intervened. Quantitative data is collected by questionnaire on householdinterviewing. As well as the qualitative method by using focus group techniqueand semi structural interview guideline are applied for enhancing a clearerillustration. It found that vertical 200 liters charcoal making chamber, horizontal 200 liters charcoal making chamber, Charcoal briquette hand machine, 2 cubic meters household digester for biogas, and Super Unglo stove could reduce a using of energy cooking stuff, comparably 188.15 kg. per household an annum. By converting, it can reduce Baht 1,076.77 of expenses per household per year. A high adoption percentage is on vertical 200 liters charcoal making chamber is 97.6%, 88.89.% of Super Unglo stove, and 77.27% of horizontal 200 liters charcoal making chamber.Factors effection for the high percentage of the adoption is a simplicity and handy equipment, especially for the vertical 200 liters charcoal makingchamber is movable to elsewhere.
