Abstract:
The research aims to 1) study the crisis management skills and 2) to compare the crisis management skills of the educational institution administrators in Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area 1 classified by the school sizes and working experiences. The samples of this study include 400 of school administrators and teachers in the schools under Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area 1. The research instrument was rating scale questionnaire and the statistical analyses were percentage, mean, standard division and One-way Analysis. and used the Scheffe's Method between each pair of school sizes was significantly different. by pairwise analysis when the differences were found 0.05 level. The result of this research reveals that 1) the crisis management skills of the educational institution administrators in Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area 1 in overall aspects were in the high level. 2) The result of comparing the crisis management skills of the educational institution administrators classified by the school sizes, difference among each aspect at 0.05 level of statistical significance. For considering the comparison in each of the aspects found that the aspect of communication skills, team building cooperation skills, critical and creative thinking skills and prioritization skills have the significant difference among each aspect at .05 level of statistical significance. And for the comparison by working experiences in overall aspects, no differences were found.
