Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) study the administrative process levels of the school administrators of the vocational institutions in Yala province, 2) study the effectiveness of the institutions of the vocational institutions in Yala province, 3) compare administrative process levels of the school administrators, according to the different variables of genders, ages, educational levels, positions/duties and different working experiences, 4) compare the effectiveness of the institutions of the vocational institutions in Yala province, according to the different variables of genders, ages, educational levels, positions/duties and different working experiences, 5) study the relationship between administrative processes of the school administrators and the effectiveness of the institutions of the vocational Institutions in Yala province, and 6) gather problems and propose the recommendations of the administrative process of educational institution administrators and the effectiveness of educational institutions of the Vocational Institutions in Yala province. The population of this research were 452 administrators and teachers of the Vocational Institutions in Yala province in academic year 2020, selected by the table of Krejcie and Morgan (1970 : 607-610), for the samples of 208. The data were, then, analyzed by applying the Package Software and shown in frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviation, T-Test and F-Test, and Pearson Correlation.
The research results were as follows:
Overall, the administrative process level of the school administrators of the Vocational Institution in Yala province was at the level of very (x ̅ = 4.20). Considering each aspect, the research found that the aspect with the highest mean score was planning (x ̅ = 4.31), followed by the work control aspect (x ̅ = 4.21), and organizing (x ̅ = 4.20), respectively, and the aspect with the lowest mean was the motivation aspect (x ̅ = 4.10).
The effectiveness levels of the educational institutions of the Vocational Institutions in Yala province, was overall at the level of very (x ̅ = 4.24). The research also found that the aspect with the highest mean score was quality assurance aspect (x ̅ = 4.37), followed by the ability aspect to develop educational institutions (x ̅ = 4.27), and learning achievement aspect (x ̅ = 4.26), the satisfaction of teachers' work (x ̅ = 4.20), and the participation of personnel (x ̅ = 4.18). The lowest mean was the resource management aspect (x ̅ = 4.17).
The results of the comparison of the administrative process of the school administrators of the Vocational Institutions in Yala province, according to the variable of genders, was found that females had views on the administrative process of the school administrators of the Vocational Institutions in Yala province higher than males but overall and every aspect had no difference.
The results of the comparison of the effectiveness of educational institutions of the Vocational Institution in Yala province, classified by gender and educational leve,. overall was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level, while position, age and experiences were not different.
The relationship between the administrative process of the school administrators and the effectiveness of the educational institutions of the Vocational Institutions in Yala province was overall relatively high with the positive correlation at a statistically significant level of .01.
The research suggested that the administration of the scool administrators should work in the form of participation and collective decision in the organization, assign duties clearly, and motivate and encourage colleagues. Also, the administrators are suggested to apply the results of the evaluation for educational institution development for planning and continually developing personnel.
