The Relationship Between Perceived Organizational Support and Organizational Commitment of Supporting Staff of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan
Abstract:
The research objective was to study a relationship between perceived organizational
support and organizational commitment of the supporting staff of Rajamangala University of
Technology Isan. The sample of 230 staff members was included. The questionnaire was used as
a tools for data collection. The data as analysed in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard
deviation, and hypothesis was tested by determining Pearsons correlation coefficient. The results
indicated that the perceived organizational support had a statistically significant relationship in
agreement with the organizational commitment at a medium level of 0.01. In addition, the
perceived organizational support that is related most to the organizational commitment is the job
security, whereas element on compensation and welfare poses the least effect on organizational
commitment
