The states and problems in using the supportive system for the administration of the education service area in the schools affiliated to the office of Ubon Ratchathani primary education service area 4
Abstract:
The research aimed to 1) study the states and problems in using the supportive system for the administration of the education service area in the school affiliated to the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Education Service Area 4, 2) to compare the states and problems as classified by positions, educational levels and school size, 3) to explore the guidelines to develop the supportive system for the administration of the education service area in the study.
The samples in the research were 30 school administrators and 135 teachers attached to the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Education Service Area 4. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire with a confidence value equivalent to 0.84. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test and F-test.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The supportive system for the administration of the education service area in the study was used at a high level. The problems were found to be at a high level.
2. Considering a comparison of the opinions of the school administrators and the teachers towards the states and problems of the administration of the supportive system as classified by the positions, there was a difference with a statistical significance of .05. There was no difference in the problems. As classified by the school size, there was a difference with a statistical significance of.05
3 the recommendations were as follows. The personnel concerned should be encouraged to attend the training on the system, those with expertise or knowledge in ICT should be assigned for the task. Priority should be given to the small-sized schools, computers and equipment should be made available to those in charge of the information system. Assignments should be clearly given, the system should be regularly used to update news and events, the administrators should be cooperative and attentive.
