Abstract:
This research emphasized to study the mean level of social networking site usage in teaching and learning of science teacher and student achievement, including study the influencing of personal factors on the two variables. The researcher developed 31 items of a questionnaire and tested it for validity, KMO = .97 and reliability, Alpha = .96. The questionnaires have been collected from 323 respondent of science teachers, assistant teachers and school staffs, for analysis. The statistical analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test and MANOVA. The research results demonstrated that the mean of social networking site usage and student achievement are high level for all components. Besides, personal factors in terms of position and education level could predict statistically significant on student achievement at .05 and possibility 92%. Furthermore, the results likewise revealed the influencing of learning motivation and learning collaboration on student achievement.
