Abstract:
The objective of this research is to study the motivation affecting decision-making to study at the graduate level: A Case Study of Ubon Ratchathani Province. To be utilized for development of graduate education management. The use of samples in the research were Graduate students in Ubon Ratchathani Province from 4 institutions: The Eastern University of Management and Technology, Ubon Ratchathani University, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University And Rajthanee University of 340 people using simple stratified sampling The research tool was a questionnaire. Reliability value of the questionnaire equal to 0.9849. The results of the research are as follows: 1) People who study at the graduate level Are motivated to continue to study at the graduate level as a whole. Were at a high level (mean 3.96) and when it was classified individually, it was found that motivation for postgraduate study in all 4 areas was personal intention Acceptance requirement Career requirements And the need for success Very level. 2) Those who continue their studies at the graduate level. There are factors in deciding to study at the graduate level as a whole. Were at a high level (average 3.88) and when classified by each aspect, it was found that the decision factors for further study at the graduate level were 6 areas, namely institution image. In curriculum and teaching model teachers / teaching technology The cost of education Service channels And public relations and marketing promotion Very level. 3) Motivation for further study at the graduate level. The overall picture in all aspects are different. As a result, the deciding factor to study at the graduate level. The difference was statistically significant at the .05 level in all aspects.
