Factors affecting information and communication technology knowledge of 3th year vocational students, office of The Vocational Education Commission in Eastern Area
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study level of information and communication technology knowledge of 3th year vocational students, office of the students, office of the vocational educational education commission in eastern area 2) to study factor affecting information and communication technology knowledge of 3th year vocational students, office of the students, office of the vocational educational education commission in eastern area. The sample were 500 students of 3th year vocational students, office of the students, office of the vocational educational education commission in eastern area in 1st semester of 2018 academic year selected by multi-stage sampling method. The variables used in research are attitudes towards using information technology and technology, knowledge acquisition skills, achievement motivation, parents supporting, teachers teaching quality, friends of influence, media of influence and school learning resources. The research instruments included were the questionnaire about factor affecting information and communication technology knowledge of 3th year vocational students, office of the students, office of the vocational educational education commission in eastern area, the level of reliabilities 0.79 - 0.91 and the achievement test at the level of difficulty 0.23 - 0.63 and the level of discrimination 0.20 - 0.73 with 0.86 reliability. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency values, average percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. The results of the research were as follows: 1) The level of information and communication technology knowledge of students was average equals 18.92 points, the standard deviation points (S.D. = 4.04) and the level of factor affecting information and communication technology knowledge of 3th year vocational students, office of the students, office of the vocational educational education commission in eastern area at a high level (x̅ = 3.97, S.D. = 0.06) 2) The factor of information technology and technology, knowledge acquisition skills, achievement motivation, parents supporting, teachers teaching quality, friends of influence, media of influence and school learning resources were positively related to information and communication technology knowledge of 3th year vocational students, office of the students, office of the vocational educational education commission in eastern area with statistical significance at the level of .05. and all factors could explain information and communication technology knowledge of students accounted for 85 percent of variance (R2 = 0.86), which is based on the factors to information and communication technology knowledge of students to maximum of teachers teaching quality factor (β= 0.18) school learning resources, friends of influence, information technology and technology, media of influence, knowledge acquisition skills, achievement motivation and parents supporting influence (β) is equal to .17, .14, .13, .12, .11, and. 10 respectively.
