Effects of Guidance Activity Organizing Based on Occupational Choosing Theory for Educational Purposes and Occupational Choosing of Matthayomsuksa 4 Students
Abstract:
The current study, Effects of Guidance Activity Organizing Based on Occupational Choosing Theory for Educational Purposes and Occupational Choosing of Matthayomsuksa 4 Students had the following 4 purposes. 1) To developthe lesson plans for guidance activity management to meet the efficiency criteria 80/80. 2) To compare the educational purposes and occupational choosingof the students before participating the guidance activities and after participating. 3) To study the satisfaction of the students towards guidance activities. The samples were 40 Matthayomsuksa 4 students of Prakhonchaipittayakom School who were studying in the 1st semester of academic year 2020. They were recruited through a Cluster Random Sampling. The research instruments were 6 lesson plans, a Goal Setting Assessment Form consisting 30 items with 5 rating scales and the reliability of 80, and a 10-item satisfaction questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed through mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. The efficiency of the lesson plans were 87.13/ 86.25, which were higher than the set criteria.
2. The educational purposes and occupational choosing of the students after learning with the guidance activities was higher than before paticipating the activities with a statistical significance of 0.1.
3. The students were satisfied with the guidance activities at the highest level
