Abstract:
Research study on Factors for decision-making to study at the graduate level of
students in the curriculum of Burapha University, Bangsaen Campus, Chonburi Province, Case
study: 4th year students, which aimed: 1) to study the factors for decision-making to study at the
graduate level of students in the curriculum of Burapha University, Bangsaen Campus, Chonburi
Province, Case study: 4th year students; and 2) to compare the factors for decision-making to
study at the graduate level of students in the curriculum of Burapha University, Bangsaen
Campus, Chonburi Province, Case study: 4th year students. The sample group used in the research
was 377 students in the fourth year, by using questionnaires as a tool to collect data and the
statistics used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA analysis, the
statistical significance level at .05.
The results of the study found that the factors for decision-making to study at the
graduate level of students in the curriculum of Burapha University, Bangsaen Campus, Chonburi
Province, Case study: 4th year students, there were 7 factors, namely, the image of Burapha
University factors, price factors, location of university factors, personnel factors, physical
evidence and presentation factors, promotion factor and process factors, which all factors were
important in decision-making at a high level. When considering each factor, it was found that the
first rank was the location of university factors which had mean at a high level ( Χ = 4.09,
SD = 0.78). The second rank was the personnel factors which had mean at a high level ( Χ = 4.09,
SD = 0.79). The third rank was the image of Burapha University factors which had mean at a high
level ( Χ = 4.04,SD = 0.80). The fourth rank was the price factors which had mean at a high
level ( Χ = 3.96,SD = 0.86). The fifth rank was the physical evidence and presentation factors
which had mean at a high level ( Χ = 3.88,SD = 0.83). The sixth rank was the process factors which had mean at a high level ( Χ = 3.85,SD = 0.93). And the seventh rank was the promotion
factors which had mean at a high level ( Χ = 3.80,SD = 0.97).
The comparison of the factors for decision-making to study at the graduate level of
students in the curriculum of Burapha University, Bangsaen Campus, Chonburi Province, Case
study: 4th year students, it was found that students with gender, age, GPA, average income of
families and faculty of education were different, there were no different factors for decision
making to study at the graduate level.
