Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) บทบาทและคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของนักพัฒนาชุมชนเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน 2) แนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทและคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของนักพัฒนาชุมชนเพื่อพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ผู้ให้ข้อมูลประกอบด้วย ผู้นำชุมชนที่ร่วมทำงานกับนักพัฒนาชุมชนและบุคคลที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการพัฒนาชุมชน ใน 4 พื้นที่ เลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive sample sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย แบบสัมภาษณ์มีโครงสร้าง (Structured interview) การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล วิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. บทบาทของนักพัฒนาชุมชนเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านการส่งเสริม ประกอบด้วย การส่งเสริมอาชีพ การส่งเสริมการตลาดจำหน่ายสินค้า การส่งเสริมการรวมกลุ่ม การส่งเสริมความรู้เกี่ยวกับการทำแผนชุนชน การเขียนโครงการ เศรษฐกิจพอเพียง การพัฒนาบุคลิกภาพ การส่งเสริมการใช้ภาษาและเทคโนโลยีในการสื่อสาร การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงอนุรักษ์ ด้านการสนับสนุน ประกอบด้วย ให้คำปรึกษาและเอื้ออำนวยความสะดวก งบประมาณและการประชาสัมพันธ์ ด้านการประสานงาน ประกอบด้วย การประสานงานกับผู้นำชุมชน และหน่วยงานราชการต่าง ๆ ที่สามารถช่วยเหลือสนับสนุนการทำงานในชุมชนได้ คุณลักษณะที่ พึงประสงค์ของนักพัฒนาชุมชนเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านความรู้ความสามารถประกอบด้วย มีการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต มีทักษะการถ่ายทอดความรู้ การใช้ภาษาและเทคโนโลยี ด้านบุคลิกภาพ ประกอบด้วย แต่งกายเหมาะสม มีความสุภาพ อ่อนน้อมถ่อมตน มีความคิดบวก มีมนุษยสัมพันธ์ เป็นกันเองกับประชาชน พูดจาดี ด้านการปฏิบัติงาน ประกอบด้วย รักงานพัฒนาชุมชน มุ่งมั่นตั้งใจ ตรงต่อเวลา เสียสละ วางตัวเป็นกลาง รับฟังความคิดเห็นผู้อื่น และลงพื้นที่สม่ำเสมอ 2. แนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทและคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของนักพัฒนาชุมชน เพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ประกอบด้วย D (Development) การพัฒนาคน เศรษฐกิจ และสิ่งแวดล้อม E (Ethics) การพัฒนาคุณธรรม จริยธรรม P (Participate) การพัฒนาการมีส่วนร่วม T (Technology) การพัฒนาการใช้ภาษาและเทคโนโลยีเพื่อการสื่อสาร

Abstract: The purposes of this study were to 1) investigate both characteristics and roles of community developers, and 2) study guidelines for enhancing the success of sustainable development of the communities. Informants in this study were community leaders who work collaboratively with community developers in 4 areas. To identify the informants, Purposive sampling was applied. The research design in this study was a qualitative approach. Structured interview was a data collection strategy. After interviewing the informants, the researcher analyzed the data through the use of content analysis. This study reports the following findings: There are at least three desirable roles of community developers shared by the informants. These include 1) Provision including career advancement, community based tourism, group work, community plan development, projects and knowledge writing, suffciency economy ,personal delopment & enhance using technology and language for communicate. 2) Providing supports in terms of budgets and sharing information, coaching and facilitator 3) Coordinating or working collaboratively with community leaders and government institutions. This study, additionally, presents three desirable characteristics of community developers which are 1) possession of knowledge and ability-Community developers should have an expertise in work related to community development and keen to learn new knowledge, 2) Personality-community developers should have good interpersonal skills, dress up and explain things clearly, humble, positive thinking, human relationship & rapport 3) Work behaviors-Community developers should be the people who are willing to work toward goals, love and understand the nature of community development work, punctual, devote themselves to the work.
