Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to develop a training course on Basic Chinese Communication, examine learning achievement, and study student satisfaction of the training course on Basic Chinese Communication for Prathomsuksa 4 students of Uttaradit Rajabhat University Demonstration School. The population of this research was 165 Pratomsuksa 4 students of Uttaradit Rajabhat University Demonstration School. The sample selected by cluster random sampling was 41 Pratomsuksa 4/1 students in the 2nd semester of 2019 academic year. The instruments used were a survey on the need and Chinese learning management context, a training course on Basic Chinese Communication, and a satisfaction survey. The mean, standard deviation, reliability, difficulty index, discrimination and t-test were the parameters used for statistical analysis. The results revealed that the training course on Basic Chinese Communication for Prathomsuksa 4 students contained 5 learning units, namely Welcome to China, Lets learn Chinese, Self-Introduction, My Family, and Chinese Culture, with 20 hours of learning duration. The effectiveness of the training course met the E1/E2 criteria at 81.49/81.53. The mean score of the learning achievement after training was at 84.25% which was statistically significantly higher than the set criteria at 0.05. In addition, the student satisfaction of the training course was at a high level.
