Abstract:
The research entitled The Quality Evaluation of a Training Workshop Project on Laboratory Safety; Medical Laboratory of Public Hospital is based on the 4-level Kirkpatrick Model. The informants include 2 groups: 1) 123 laboratory staff members
never attending the workshop on laboratory safety, and these members are divided into 3 groups, and 2) 16 laboratory heads; the staff members heads. Research tools for data collection include a questionnaire, a knowledge test, and a behavioral evaluation form.
The statistics employed include mean, standard deviation and percentage. The research results can be concluded as follows; 1) the assessment result of the training participants reaction discloses that the level of their satisfaction on the workshop in all items is in high level, 2) the assessment result of the training participants learning discloses that after the training their average scores are in line with the expected criterion while the level of their progressiveness is higher than the expected criterion, 3) the evaluation result of their safety behavior in the laboratories discloses that all safety measures in some laboratories are not followed, and 4) the result of total outcomes discloses a reduction of laboratory accidents to minus, and this leads to the satisfaction of the goals.
