Abstract:
The objectives of this research were:1) to study how to apply the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy into the daily life of officers of Ordnance Department; and, 2) to compare how to apply the philosophy into the officers daily life. The samples used in this research were 333 officers working in the Ordnance Department. The tool used was a set of questionnaire and the data were analyzed by a computer program called SPSS for Windows. The statistics employed were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation (S.D.). T-test technique was analyzed to determine the difference between two groups of independent variables. One-Way ANOVA technique was applied for two groups of independent variables. The research results state that: 1. the overall officers of Ordnance department have applied the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy into their daily life at a high level. Taking into consideration by each aspect, it has found out that the aspect with the highest mean is condition of knowledge and moral integrity, following by the aspects of sufficiency and reasoning. The least aspect of mean is immunity. 2. The comparison of applying the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy into the officers daily life which is classified by personal factors has shown that the officers with gender, age, education, monthly income monthly expense, and different types of savings have applied the philosophy into their daily life not differed. The overall different positions have applied the philosophy into their daily life more than that of non-commissioned officers.
