Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study and compare motivation in working of teachers in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, classified by school size and work experience. The samples were 313 teachers under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 selected by multi-stage random sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire with the reliability level of 0.96. The statistics employed for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and t-test.The results were as follows:(1. Motivation in working of teachers in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, as a whole, was at a high level. When considering in each aspect, it was found that the status of profession was the highest, followed by job security. Nature of work was the lowest. (2. The comparison of motivation in working of teachers in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, classified by school size, as a whole, was significantly different at 0.05. When considering in each aspect, it was found that progress in work, relationship with superiors, relationship with colleagues, rule and working conditions were significantly different at 0.05. (3. The comparison of motivation in working of teachers in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, classified by work experience, as a whole, was significantly different at 0.05. When considering in each aspect it was found that achievement, recognition, salary, relationship with superiors, relationship with colleagues, rule and policy and administration were significantly different at 0.05.
