Abstract:
The objectives of this study were 1) to study behaviors, impacts and guidelines for reducing impacts of using social network of students in Burapha University, 2) to develop training curriculum,
3) to compare the pretest and posttest achievement scores of trainees, and 4) to study students satisfaction towards training curriculum. The research and development training curriculum was devided into two phases. The first phase : Study the problems and guidelines for reducing impacts. The samples consisted of 380 students and five experts who were interviewed to obtain some guildlines and suggestions for reducing impacts of using social network . The second phase was the development and a trial of the training curriculum with 25 students. The research instuments were achievement test, questionaires, construct interviews and training curriculum. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, Means Standard Deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA.
The research findings were summarized as follows:
1. Overall, the behaviors and impacts of using social network of students in Burapha University were rated at high level. The guidelines for reducing impacts of using social network shared by five experts included there should be a developmentof a training curriculum for cyber security management and safety social network usage.
2. Training curriculum development of train curriculnm for reducing impacts of using social network of students in Burapha University was comprised of 6 components, including : principle, goals, objcetives, contents, training activities, and evaluation all of components were rated at the highest level
(x ̅ = 4.76, SD = 0.71).
3. The score in training achievement of the posttest were significantly higher than pretest at .05 level of significance.
4. Overall, the level of students satisfaction with training curriculum development of train curriculnm for reducing impacts of using social network of students in Burapha University were rated at high level (x ̅ = 3.95, SD = 0.63).
