Abstract:
This study is aimedat 1) studying the retailers intention to purchase Korean fashion clothing based on the personal factors; 2) studying the retailers intention to purchase Korean fashion clothing based on the behavior; and 3) studying the country of origin of the fashion clothing with the purchase intention for an upcoming wholesale business in Chon Buri. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data. The data were then analyzed by a software program of social statistics. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The hypothesis test is one-way ANOVA, as well as regression analysis of two or more variables. Multiple Regression was employed to seek the correlations between factors. It was found that most of the sample were female, accounted for 81.50 percent. They aged between 30-39 years, accounted for 41 percent. 77.25 percent of them have been fashion clothing retailers with an average monthly income of 30,001-35,000 Baht or 27.25 percent of the total. 55.25 of the sample had the marital status as being married. The majority of the sample obtained a Bachelors Degree. The findings further indicated that 1) difference in personal factors affected the intention to purchase Korean fashion clothing for an upcoming wholesale business in Chon Buri; 2) consumer behavior affected the intention to purchase Korean fashion clothing for an upcoming wholesale business in Chon Buri; 3) the country of origin of the fashion clothing was highly correlated with the purchase intention for an upcoming wholesale business in Chon Buri, a statistical significance at p=0.05
