Transformational leadership and management policies influencing the success of the implementation of the good governance policy of Sakaeo provincial administrative organization
Abstract:
This research aimed to study the factors of transformational leadership and management influencing the success of good governance policies of Administrative Organization of Sa Kaeo. The study was quantitative research. The tools used in the study was questionnaires. The sample consisted of 400 officials of Provincial Administrative Organization of Sa Kaeo and Local Administrative Organization. The statistics used in the study were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. The results of each factor revealed that: 1) the overall transformational leadership was at a moderate level. When each aspect was considered, the first rank was motivating inspiration, which was followed by the idealized influence, behaviorally Idealized Stimulation, and Intellectual Stimulation. The last rank was individualized consideration. 2) The overall management policy factor was at a very high level. When each aspect was considered, the first rank was the structure, which was followed by the personnel and the budget, and the last rank was the materials and equipment. 3) The success of the implementation of good governance in the administration of Sa Kaeo Provincial Organization was at a very high level. When each aspect was considered, the first rank was transparency, followed by efficiency, moral/ ethical principles, rule of law, decentralization, main responsibilities equality principles, responsiveness, and effectiveness principles. And the last rank was participation principle. The hypothesis test showed that the transformational leadership and management policy at statistical significance level of .05. The most influential variable was Management Factor (Beta = .428), and the second rank was transformational leadership (Beta = .391). Both variables had a predictability of 50.0%
