Abstract:
The purposes of this study were: 1) to study about participative management under local government organization in Chiang Rai 2) to study the effectiveness of the schools under local government organization in Chiang Rai and 3) to study about the relationship of participative management with effectiveness of the schools under local government organization in Chiang Rai. The case study was 245 people of school directors and teachers under local government organization in Chiang Rai by using Stratified Random Sampling. The tools that were used in this study were 5 level rating scales by finding Alpha Coefficient, school participative management reliability equal to 0.97 and the effectiveness of the schools reliability equal to 0.95. The statistic that were used in this study included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The result showed that: 1) the school administration of participative management under local government organization in Chiang Rai had mean in high level. When looked in each part found that all part have mean in high level, especially, in general management followed by academic administration and human resources. The part that got the lowest mean was financial management. 2) The effectiveness of the schools under local government organization in Chiang Rai overall had mean in high level. When looked in 3 parts found that all part had mean in high level, especially, in administration and management process followed by childs centered teaching process. The part that got the lowest mean was student quality. 3) The relationship study about participative management with effectiveness of the schools under local government organization in Chiang Rai in positive level with statistical significant equal to 0.01.
