The sample group was 394 school administrators and teachers. They were selected by Stratified Random Sampling, and percent criterion was used in the samplesize
specification. The instruments used in data collection were a five-rating scale questionnaire, an academic administration questionnaire with the discrimination between .36 - .80 and the reliability of .94, and an academic administration effectiveness questionnaire with the discrimination between .24 - .77 and the reliability of .95. the statistics used were mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis.
The results were found that (1) the overall levels of factors in academic administration in the opinions of school administrators and teachers were at the high level. (2) The comparison on overall academic administration in the opinions of school administrators and teachers classified by status was statistically significant different at the .01 level. The comparison on overall effectiveness of academic administration in the opinions of school administrators and teachers classified by school-size was statistically significant different at the .01 level. (3) Factors of administration and its effectiveness revealed high level of positive correlation (rxy=0.93). (4) Factors of academic administration could predict academic administration effectiveness of schools under Nakhon Phanom Primary Education Service Area Office 1 which showed the coefficient prediction at 90.50 and found the discrepancy of prediction at ±.108.
