Abstract:
Due to the limited resources and time consumption in achieving the tasks, manual workload allocation causes organization management to be delayed and lacking standards. In addition, datasets and organizational structures are varied depending on the different types of task and request. Therefore, the workload must be divided and managed appropriately based on relevant factors and available resources at that time. Workload categorization implemented through applying machine learning can be used for managing the limited resources relying on different factors and task requirements. It can reduces the time process and increase the system efficiency in the same time. Therefore, this study proposes a flexible model structure along with machine learning, Naïve Bayes to categorize the workload for software development task automatically. It provides fast categorization process with high accuracy results. Finally, the proposed method can be implemented for different organization, especially software house.
