Abstract:
This research had three phases; The first phase was the study of basic information in the development of training curriculum for preparing occupationals competencies in the enterprise of dual vocational. There are three steps: 1) The record form used to collect the data of the occupational training capacity of the dual vocational training students and analytical by content analysis. 2) The semi- structured interview used to collect the data of the competencies in the enterprise of a dual vocational training students an according to the expectations of the enterprise. The data collection by seven experts interviews from the enterprise and analytical by content analysis. 3) The questionnaire used for seventy-eight population in eight colleges study the current situation concerning the competencies in the enterprise of the dual vocational training students with the reliability of 0.97 and analytical by mean and standard deviation.
The second phase was developed of a training curriculum for preparing occupationals competencies in the enterprise of dual vocational training students. There are four steps: 1) training curriculum drafting, 2) checking the appropriate and congruence (IOC) of the curriculum by seven experts, 3) improvement of the training curriculum drafting, and 4) tryout and study of training curriculum effectiveness.Twenty students used to tryout curriculum. Research instruments: first was composite three tests; test of the knowledge competency with the reliability of 0.86, seven practical tests with the reliability between 0.71 - 0.89, and attribute test with the reliability of 0.88. The second was satisfaction questionnaire had a reliability of 0.86 and analysis data by t-test dependent, t-test one sample group, mean and standard deviation.
The last phase was study of the opinions of those involved in the occupational training program of dual vocational training students. Seventeen stakeholders used to collect data by questionnaire and analysis of average and standard deviation.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The curriculum for preparing occupationals competencies in the
enterprise of dual vocational training students comprised three dimensions: knowledge, skill, and attribute. The knowledge and basic skills for maintenance and repair automobile include desired characteristics were the expect for enterprise to the dual vocational training students. The current study of occupationals competencies in the enterprise of dual vocational training students was found that knowledge and skills were moderate and the attribute was high.
2. The curriculum for preparing occupationals competencies in the enterprise of
dual vocational training students were appropriate highest level and consistent with all criteria. The results of the curriculum showed that the students knowledge and skills after training were higher than before training and the skills were significant at 0.01 level. The students attributes and the satisfaction of the curriculum for preparing occupationals competencies in the enterprise of dual vocational training students after training were at high level.
3. The stakeholders opinions on the curriculum for preparing
occupationals competencies in the enterprise of dual vocational training students overall were at highest level and the utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy were also at highest level in every aspect.
