Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the cross-cultural competencies of industrial technician students. Vocational certificate level Technology College in Bangkok and to develop a structural equation model of cross cultural competencies for Industrial students at Technical College in Bangkok. All variables in the model are 16 observed variables and 5 latent variables. The sample group is industrial technician students vocational certificate level Technology College. In Bangkok, 742 people were randomly assigned stratified random sampling. The tools used in the research were the questionnaire of the 5-level estimation model, the first 2 issues, is used for analyzing the cross-cultural competencies of industrial technician students. The second edition is used for structural validity validation, cross-cultural structural equation model of industrial technician students. Analyze the components of cross-cultural competencies of students of industrial technicians with second-order confirmatory factor analysis statistics. And analysis of structural equation models.
The research found that
1. Preliminary results analysis of sample data It was found that the students had a high level of cultural awareness (x̄= 3.80, S.D. = 0.85), and had a high level of knowledge and understanding of culture (x̄ = 3.81, S.D. = 0.88). Overall, it is in the high level (x̄ = 3.85, SD = 0.84). The family characteristics are at the high level (x̄ = 3.80, SD = 0.86). The overall behavior is at the high level (x̄ = 3.79, SD = 0.87). The overall is at a high level (x̄ = 3.89, SD = 0.82). The environment in the college Overall is at a high level (x̄ = 3.79, S.D. = 0.87)
2. The cross-cultural competency component of industrial engineering students consists of 10 variables, which are classified in 3 aspects. Each component has a standard weight of 0.96 - 1.00 and the developed components are consistent with the empirical data. As a result of checking the consistency of the model and the empirical data, it was found that the values (the X² statistically insignificant values, p = 0.91, X² df = 1.054, RMSEA = 0.009, RMR = 0.24, GFI = 0.942, CFI = 0.996 show that the information is consistent with the empirical data.
3. The model of the cross-cultural competency equation model of industrial mechanic students at the vocational certificate level technology College in Bangkok, developed in accordance with empirical data X² = 20.328 df = 19.0 Sig. = 0.375 and CMIN / df. = 1.070 values X²/df = 1.070 RMSEA values = 0.010. RMR = 0.009. GFI = 0.997. CFI = 1.000 indicates that data Consistent with empirical data.
