The development of project-based learning model using learning community to enhance ability to analyze for the early childhood students program the college of teacher education phranakornrajabhat university
Abstract:
The objectives of this study wereto develop a project-based learning model using learning communityto enhance ability to analyze for the early childhood education program, the College of teacher education, Phranakorn Rajabhat University.Sample group used in research by researcher used group random sampling method. 26 students of one section were selected. who were studying in Year 4, 2nd semester, academic year 2018 The duration of study was 15 weeks. The tools used in the study were; 1) learning management plan and 2) evaluation form of analytical thinking ability. Average and standard deviation were statistics used in data analysis.
The study found that: 1.) The components of a project-based learning model using learning communityto enhance ability to analyze for the early childhood education program, the College of teacher education, Phranakorn Rajabhat Universityconsisted of 5 parts. They were principles, objectives, learning activities, learning evaluation and manual. There were steps of learning activities; 1) identifying problems, 2) planninga project work, 3) practicing, 4) learning review, and 5) presenting work. At each stage, there will be a creation of a learning community at every step. 2.) To evaluate a model found that the overall picture was the most appropriate model. When sorted by average order found that components of the pattern and learning evaluation, the process of learning activities according to the modeland manual for using the model were most appropriate. But learning activities were more appropriate. 3.) To study ability to analyze found that The average score of the assessment of analytical thinking ability of students who studied with a project-based learning model using learning community. After studying was higher than before, both overall and individual was significantly at the level of .05
