The English Sentence Structure at World Center Class in Yangon Myanmar
Abstract:
The objectives of this study were (1) to study situation of English sentence structure (2) to analyze English sentence structure at World Center Class, Yangon in Myanmar. This study was documentary and qualitative research in nature. This research method used from collecting analyzing and categorizing data from the primary sources of English newspaper blogs and Webpages. The study of this research was in the following:
The method of this thesis showed English sentence structure with using a syntactic approach in the grammar way. Sentence structure used words, phrases and clauses to know the meaning correctly in sentences as in grammar. In this approach, grammar showed the rules using words, phrases, clauses and sentences in a language shortly. A Part of grammar explains about sentences with full meaning.
A sentence used some eight parts of speech trustily in a sentence structure as meaningful. Sentence structure in this thesis was divided into four sentences, namely (1) simple sentence used only a single independent clause (no dependent clause). (2) compound sentence used only multiple independent clauses joined co-ordinate conjunction; and, but, for etc. (3) complex sentence consisted of one or more independent clauses, and with at least one dependent clause using subordinating conjunction: that, bemuses, although etc. And (4) compound-complex sentence used multiple independent clause, and one dependent clause.
All people used to speak words, phrases, clauses and sentences but for writing using only sentence normally in English language. So, sentence is very important in a language, everyone must know about sentence structure.
Finally, the English sentence structure will help the people who do not understand English. This research showed a method of learning and teaching English from many text books and documents relating with grammar.
