Abstract:
The purpose of research were: 1) To study the problems of English Reading Skill of Matthayom Sueksa 3 students at Klongmaungpittayacom school in Nakhon Ratchasima, 2) To analyze the problems of English Reading Skills of Matthayom Sueksa 3 students at Klongmaungpittayacom school in Nakhon Ratchasima, and 3) to find the ways to solve the problems of English Reading Skills of Matthayom Sueksa 3 students at Klongmaungpittayacom school in Nakhon Ratchasima.
This study was a mixed method between a qualitative and quantitative research in nature. A questionnaire was used for collecting quantitative data from 63 students and an in-depth interview was used for collecting qualitative data from 5 key informants. An analyzing quantitative data and statistics including Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation (S.D.) was used and a content analysis was
for analyzing qualitative.
Results of the study are as follows:
1. From study the problems of English Reading Skills of Matthayom Sueksa 3 students at Klongmaungpittayacom school in Nakhon Ratchasima, it found that the first part of study English reading skills was ( =2.62, S.D.= 1.02). The results were indicated as high level of English reading skills.
2. To analyze the problems of English Reading Skills of Matthayom Sueksa 3 students at Klongmaungpittayacom school in Nakhon Ratchasima. It revealed that the overall level was ( = 2.51, S.D. = 2.03). The results were indicated as high level of the problem of English reading skills, and second part is also the analyzing the problems of English Reading Skills of Matthayom Sueksa 3 students at Klongmaungpittayacom school in Nakhon Ratchasima. It revealed that the overall level was ( = 2.53, S.D. = 1.07). The results were indicated as high level.
