Abstract: This research has four main objectives 1) To study about problems and obstacles of the management of rubberwood furniture industry for Thailand exports. 2) To study about the association between the management and the competitive advantage of rubberwood furniture industry for Thailand exports. 3) To find the management model of rubberwood furniture industry for Thailand exports. The researcher has conducted a mixed method research study by using both quality and quantity method, which used questionnaires for interviews and questionnaires for sample population as data collection tool. The key informants for interview were managers, who work corporate executives in government agencies or associations related to rubberwood furniture industry, 3 managers per each organization total of 15. The sample population for quantitative were randomly selected from 41 rubberwood furniture companies, each with 11 persons, total of 451 people. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, arithmetic mean. Standard Deviation by using processing methods with statistical software and advanced test statistics in computer. According to the research:To top Problems and obstacles of management of the rubberwood furniture industry can be classified to 1) The process of increasing competitiveness consists of operational factors, market needs, relevant industry, organizational strategy, government, and opportunity. 2) A supply chain consists of raw materials, production control, processing, and transportation system. 3) Value chain consists of marketing and sales conditions, customer relationship management. The study of the relationship between variables affecting the management of rubberwood furniture industry shows that: Supply chain factors affect the management of rubberwood furniture industry for Thailand exports higher than the value chain. The structural model is Z=0.23X-0.12Y (SE=0.44, R2 =0.56). The management model of rubberwood furniture industry found that: Supply chain factors are critical effect to the furniture industry. Sorting from; 1) Procurement of raw materials for production. 2) Processing of raw materials into products. 3) Production control. 4) Transportation system. Suggestions from research results: A government policy has be considered law of planting trees in land ownership should be clearly and urgently considered, regarding the rubberwood, other types of wood and also the non-preserved wood in order to make the economic wood associated with the proof of source and area that can cultivate the wood according to the standard of FLEGT and FSC. For apply Management Model of Rubberwood Furniture Industry to used, should be mainly developed in the supply chain. As indicated by the result, supply chain totally affects competitiveness more than value chain. The next research should study scientifically about the benefits and drawbacks between the rubberwood furniture and other types of wood in Thailand and other countries in order to analyze the strengths, weakness, opportunities, and obstacles. This is to develop a right, inclusive and appropriate kind of Rubberwood Furniture Industry according to its type of products as well as to enabling a clear standard to compare product quality.
