Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the level of perception and attitude of performance appraisals and salary promotions of Port Authority of Thailands employees to propose possible guidelines for the improve the efficiency. The study applied quantitative methods. Data were collected by questionnaires from 356 samples using Convenience sampling and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results were discussed based on the research objectives.
The results revealed that the majority of the sample gave a significant to their personal factors in terms of ages, working experiences, educations, range of salary and marriage status, with the performance appraisals and salary promotions factors , (Significant level 0.05) . the relation between perceptions and attitudes of performance appraisals and salary promotions of port authority of Thailands employees at the significant level of 0.01. This research shows the recommendations and conclusions including 1) Contribute committee to consider the performance appraisals or 360 degree performance assessments. 2) Use Open Process Online Appraisals, which can make learning space for all involved to improve their working performances.
