Abstract:
The purpose of this research were to :compare the mathematical problem solving ability of mathayomsuksa 1 students with different mathematics anxiety and self efficacy, study solving Mathematical problems of mathayomsuksa 1 students with different levels of mathematics anxiety and study the mathematical problems solving of mathayomsuksa1 students with different level of self efficacy. Research samples were 83 students of mathayomsuksa 1 from KalasinPhitthayasan School in the second semester of 2019. Research tools were an anxiety test in mathematics, self-efficacy test in mathematics, a mathematical problems solving test, and the interview form of solving mathematical problems. Students were interviewed individually to be studied regarding solving mathematical problems in each group. Research statics were analysis of variance :Two-Way ANOVA, mean, standard deviation, case study and descriptive analysis.
The results show that (1) in mathematics anxiety and self-efficacy affected mathematical problem solving with statistical significance at the .05(2) students with high levels of mathematics anxiety able to solve mathematical problems at a level of need to improve, Students in a medium anxiety group can solve mathematical problems be moderate and students in a low anxiety group are able to solve mathematical problems in a good to very good.(3) Students in high levels of self-efficacy are able to solve mathematic problems at a good level to very well, students in medium level of self-efficacy are able to solve mathematic problems at a moderate and students in low levels of self-efficacy are able to solve mathematic problems at a level of need to improve.
