ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to develop the proposed policy for empowerment school board committee in small-size Schools under Roi Et Primary Educational Service Office. Mixed research method was employed with divided into 2 phases. The first phase was preparation proposed policy including 2 methods of research methodology: 1) to survey an opinion of 351 committees on basic education by using rating scale questionnaire, and 2) the focus group discussion by 12 experts. The second phrase was an examination and development of the proposed policy by synthesized information from the research results of the first phase to find out the congruity, propriety, utility, feasibility, and acceptability by interview 9 experts.
The research result revealed that the proposed policy in empowerment committee on basic education in small-size Schools under Roi Et Primary Educational Service Office consisted of 10 elements sorted by average descending and the 32 proposed policies. The 10 elements were: 1) the participation in administration, 2) The team building, 3) The creating of working environment, 4) The creating of work motivation, 5) The acknowledgement of knowledge and skill, 6) The creating of leadership, 7) The recognition of self-ability, 8) The support receiving, 9) The opportunity receiving, and 10) The receiving of freedom to work.
