Abstract:
The purposes of the study were to establish principles for creating arts that
promote positive emotions in teenagers, creating a new art that integrating Eastern and
Western inspiration and uses for promoting positive emotions in teenagers by analyzing art
elements and visual art elements (colors) of impressionism, and study the effectiveness of
creative arts by evaluating emotional awareness and analyzing the brain wave while
viewing arts that promote positive emotions in teenagers.
The results showed that the arts used in this research are consistent with happiness
the most, followed by hope and love, respectively. The creation of arts that can make the
audience feel happy, consisting of important areas, integrity, and composition of elements, and
the use of colors with angle shades between 76-146 degrees and the brightness of the color is
between 21-80. Arts hopes mood, consists of free space which has the direction of movement
between free space and shape continuously and consists of colors with angular values between
0-49 degrees and the brightness of the color between 21-80. Arts with a loving mood, reflecting
the interaction between space, distance, direction, movement, the shape of material and human.
It consists of colors with a color between 0-41 and 76-119 degrees and the brightness of the
color between 21-80. Besides this, from the study the effectiveness of creative arts by evaluating
emotional awareness, average score (M) of emotions obtained from viewing arts that promote
emotions of happiness, hope, and love with an average of 4.31, 4.08 and 3.50 points and
standard deviation (SD) equal to 0.78, 0.90 and 0.80, respectively. Moreover, the analysis of the
EEG of positive emotions in all three areas (love, happiness, and hope) showed that left brain
have similar values between 0.023 to 0.024, and the average of electric waves interferon alfa
area of the brain at the front right side of the brain is equal to 0.013, 0.017 and 0.016
respectively.
