The effects of using the 4 mat learning activities in topic of the different systems in the human body and animals on grade 8 students analytical thinking and attitude towards sciences
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was studied about the effects of using the 4MAT
learning activities in topic of the different systems in the human body and animals on
grade 8 students analytical thinking and attitude towards science. The participants were 29
students in grade 8 Banbudee School Pattani province under the Office of Pattani Primary
Education Service Area Office 1. The design of this research was quasi-experimental
design. The data were collected by using learning achievement test, analytical thinking test
and attitude towards sciences test, which the data were analyzed by t-test. The research
finding were as following.
1. The learning achievement post-test by teaching management through the
4 MAT learning activities was higher than pre-test and the learning achievement post-test
was higher level than the one set by 70% criterion, with the statistically significance
at .05 of level.
2. The analytical thinking post-test by teaching management through the 4 MAT
learning activities was higher than pre-test and the analytical thinking post-test was higher
level than the one set by 70% criterion, with the statistically significance at .05 of level.
3. The attitude towards sciences post-test by teaching management through the
4 MAT learning activities was higher than pre-test with the statistically significance at .05
of level.
