Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop Dhammasakaccha and mind mapping
based instruction model to enhance systematic thinking of Matthayomsuksa S Students and
2) to compare students' systematic thinking between before and after learning through the
developed instruction model. The sample included 32 Matthayomsuksa 5/:3 from Rattanakosin
Somphot Bowonniwet Salaya School in the 2" semester of academic year 2018 obtained through
cluster random sampling. The research instruments involved 1) 6 lesson plans and 2) 4-multiple
choice test of systematic thinking. Data were statistically analyzed by mean, standard deviation,
and t-test for dependent sample.
The findings were found as follows.
1. The components of Dhammasakaccha and mind mapping-based instruction model to
enhance systematic thinking of Matthayomsuksa S Students consisted of 1) theory, principle, and
concept of the model 2) model objectives 3) learning process, i.e., motivation, new lesson
learning, mind mapping usage, group discussion, and system conclusion and 4) learning outcome.
2. The systematic thinking of the students after learning through the developed
Dhammasakaccha and mind mapping-based instruction model was higher than what found before
the experiment at significance level .01.
