The development of a structural relationships model of factors influencing the effectiveness for the demonstration schools of rajabhat university in thailand
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to: 1) develop a structural relationship model of factors influencing the effectiveness of Rajabhat University demonstration schools and 2) investigate the concordance between the structural relationship model of factors
influencing the effectiveness of Rajabhat University demonstration schools and the empirical data. The research tools were structural interview forms and questionnaires. The sample groups consisted to 313 administrators and instructors from nine Rajabhat
University demonstration schools. The research found that 1) the structural relationship model of factors which had both a direct and indirect influence on the effectiveness of Rajabhat University demonstration schools consisted of four main elements: the
organization, the environment, the staff, and the management policy. The organization element was comprised of two indicators: structure and technology information. The environmental element was comprised of two indicators: atmosphere and culture. The
staff element consisted of two indicators: job satisfaction and the staffs relationship to schools. The management and working policy consisted of three indicators: strategic management, leadership, and resources. 2) The structural relationship model of factors
influencing the effectiveness corresponded to the empirical data. The structural relationship model explained 53 percent of the variance in effectiveness, and the staff element accounted for the most influence, followed by management and working policy,
the organization, and the environment. It was expected that this study would serve as a guideline for school administration and administrators in Rajabhat University demonstration schools as a contribution to improving the quality of administration.
