The Relationship between Academic Leadership of School Administrators with the Effectiveness of Academic Administration of Private School under Surat Thani Primary Educational service Area Office 1
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the academic leadership
of school administrators, to study the effectiveness of academic administration
of private school and study the relationship between the academic leadership of
school administrators and the effectiveness of academic administration of private
school under Surat Thani Primary Educational service Area Office 1. The sample were
285 teachers by simple random sampling. The data were collected by using questionnaires.
The questionnaires were the academic leadership and the effectiveness of academic
administration. The questionnaire was reliability of 0.95 and 0.93. The data were
analyzed by using basic statistics including mean, standard deviation and Pearson
correlation coefficient.
The research results were as follows : the academic leadership of school
administrators were at high level overall and individually, followed by the defining
the mission of the school, to promote an environment of learning and teaching, the
promotion of teaching and learning, and the promotion of effective supervision
respectively. the effectiveness of academic administration of private school were
were at high level overall and individually, followed by the development of the
learning process, the development of quality assurance systems within the school,
development resources research to improve the quality of education, measurement
and evaluation to transfer of learning, the development of innovative media and
educational technology, developing curriculum and educational supervision,
respectively. the relationship between the academic leadership of school administrators
and the effectiveness of academic administration of private school in under Surat Thani
Primary Educational service Area Office 1. overall relationship in a positive way
