Participative management strategies to promote internal quality assurance aystem and mechanism for Faculty of Education of Northern Rajabhat University

Abstract: The purposes of this research were to 1) investigate the condition, problems and a need Assessment of participative management to promote internal quality assurance system and mechanism for faculty of education of Northern Rajabhat University, 2) develop participative management strategies for promoting internal quality assurance system and mechanism for faculty of education of Northern Rajabhat University, 3) to study the result of the strategies using which were included 3 steps. The first step was to analyze condition, problems and Needs Assessment of participative management to promote internal quality assurance system and mechanism for faculty of education of Northern Rajabhat University. The sample of the study was 389 people; including administrators, academic personnel, and supporting personnel. The Simple random sampling was used for choosing the sample. The condition perception, understanding, practice, and attitude questionnaires toward participation to promote internal quality assurance system and mechanism for faculty of education of Northern Rajabhat University were used as research instrument. the data was analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and a need Assessment (PNI).The second step was to develop the strategies by studying concepts, theory and related researches, then analyzed them in order to create the strategies and evaluative for the quality for two times; the first time was verified by focus group and asking for opinions from professionals. The second time was to ask the opinion from 13 professionals. The research instrument was professional questionnaires for considering the quality of the strategies. The data was analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, content analysis. The third step was to test the strategies for finding the quality by taking the strategies to test with the sample which were 50 people which consisted of administrators, lecturers, supporting personnel of the faculty of education, Uttaradit Rajabhat University. The instruments includedpre–posttest knowledge and understand in assessments questionnaires, satisfaction assessment toward the project of knowledge management training course, the project assessment of the strategies and a questionnaire for asking opinion from the sample who tried to use the strategies. The data was analyzed by using mean, standard deviation and t-test. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The analysis result in modified priority need index of personnel participation to promote internal quality assurance system and mechanism in planning participation found that the approach and guideline operational determination in operating the quality assurance was highest. In operating participation aspect revealed that the promotion and supports the personnel to participate the activities related with the quality assurance was also highest. In checking the result of operating aspect found that the data checking and evaluate result for applying in decision for activities operation was highest. For development and improvement participation aspect showed that taking the evaluated result to improve key performance indicator in the quality assurance was also highest. 2. The participative management strategies for promoting internal quality assurance system and mechanism for faculty of education of Northern Rajabhat University which were included 3 strategies. The first strategies was to promote the personnel to Knowledge of the quality assurance by integrating. The second strategies was to promote the personnel to knowledge management of the quality assurance by Information Technology reinforcing. The third strategies was to promotion the personnel to participate the activities related with the quality assurance by knowledge management. 3. The result of testing the strategies found that knowledge and understanding score of the quality assurance work of the sample after participated strategies testing was higher than the score before participation with statistically significantly at .05. The sample was highly satisfied with the project of knowledge management training course and also highly satisfied with the project of participative management strategies to support knowledge, skills and attitude for internal quality assurance. The evaluative result of the strategies quality found that the strategies were beneficial, possible, suitable and accurate at the highest level.
