The Operations of the Professional Learning Community (Plc) of Secondary School Teachers in Samutprakan Province Group 2 under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 6
Abstract:
This research aimed to study the operations of the professional learning community (PLC) of secondary school teachers in Samutprakan Province group 2 under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 6, and to compare the operations of the professional learning community (PLC) of secondary school teachers in Samutprakan Province group 2 under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 6 according to work experiences and subject matters. The samples were 247 secondary school teachers in Samutprakan Province group 2 under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 6 in the academic year 2018. The instruments used in this study were five-level rating scale questionnaire with the reliability 0.97. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics: percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics: One-Way ANOVA. The results of the study revealed the operations of the professional learning community (PLC) of secondary school teachers in Samutprakan Province group 2 were at a high level. Considering in orders, the highest mean to the lowest one were as follows: companionship, professional learning and development, collaborative teamwork, supportive structure, shared vision, and leadership respectively. The comparison of the operations of the professional learning community (PLC) of secondary school teachers in Samutprakan Province group 2 under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 6 according to the work experiences and subject matters were not statistically different.
