Guidelines on Marketing Development for Tourism Bike Route for Sustainable Tourism with Community Participation in Bangkachao Phrapradaeng District, Samutprakan Province
Abstract:
This research focuses on the guidelines of marketing development for tourism bike route for sustainable tourism with community participation in Bangkachao Prapradaeng district, Samutprakan province. The purposes of this study are: 1) To investigate the major factor of 7Ps which is the most significant for tourists to the tourism bike route in Bangkachao Prapradaeng district, Samutprakan province. 2) To compare the factors of 7Ps which is the most significant for tourists to the tourism bike route in Bangkachao Prapradaeng district, Samutprakan province classified by general personal information. 3) To study the level of participation of people in community to develop a model of 7Ps for the tourism bike route in Bangkachao. 4) To acknowledge the thoughts of government sectors about the development plan of 7Ps model. 5) To steer the direction of the tourism bike route in Bangkachao Prapradaeng district, Samutprakan province development plan. The study result reveals that 1) Tourist gives physical factor the most importance followed by the physical evidence, place/ distribution channel, and pricing. 2) The tourist that has different personal factors, similarly emphasize the 7Ps of tourism bike route in Bangkachao. 3) People in community support the tourism bike riding by providing the food stands along the bike route. 4) Government gives the support to this activity by setting up the campaign which is relevant to riding bike. 5) Promote the PR of physical factor, location, and distribution channel to gain more tourists in the long term
