Evaluation of Information System Efficiency for Academic Administration Development of Secondary Schools under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office 32
Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) evaluate the information system efficiency for academic
Administration in schools under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office 32 and
2) compare the opinions of the school teachers about the information system efficiency for
Academic administration in schools under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office 32,divided by working experience and school sizes. The sample consisted of 338 teachers who were determined by the sample size table of Krejcie and Morgan, stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire created by the researcher. The questionnaire had three parts: checklist, 5 rating scale, and open-ended. The reliability was 0.89. the statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested by t-test, one way ANOVA, and the difference of the average was tested by the method
of Scheffe. The results of the study were as follows:
1. The results of evaluation of information system efficiency for academic
Administration in schools under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office 32, according to the opinions of the teacher were at a high level in overall and each aspect.
2. Having compared the opinions of teachers about evaluation of information
System efficiency for academic administration in schools under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office 32 divided by working experience and school sizes, there was the statistically significant difference at the .01 level in overall and each aspect.
3. The results of the highest comments and suggestions about evaluation of
Information system efficiency for academic administration in schools under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office 32 revealed that 1) schools should develop learning resources in school and community for learning facilitation 2) the schools should have information system evaluation, and 3) there should provide handbooks for all curriculums in schools.
