The development of scientific analytical thinking and group process by using flipped classroom techniques on web site about genetics of 10th grade students
Abstract:
The purposesof this experimental research were to compare scientific analytical thinking and group process of the topic Genetics for 10th grade students of pretest and posttest using flipped classroom techniques on web site and compare scientific analytical thinking and group process of the topic Genetics for 10th grade students using flipped classroom techniques on web site with traditional instruction. The participants of this research consisted of two classroom from 10th grade students of Princess Chulabhorn Science High School Nakhon Si Thammarat in the second semester of academic year 2016, with were randomly selected by using cluster sampling. The research instruments were the flipped classroom techniques on web site lesson plans, the traditional approach lesson plans, scientific analytical thinking test on genetics and group process test. The data were statistically analyzed using means, standard deviation, dependent sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The findings of this research were as follows. 1. Scientific analytical thinking for the 10th grade studentsusing flipped classroom techniques on web site posttest learning was higher than pretest score learning significant at the .05 level. 2. Group process for the 10th grade students using flipped classroom techniques on web site posttest learning was higher than pretest score learning significant at the .05 level. 3. Scientific analytical thinking for the 10th grade studentsusing flipped classroom techniques on web site was higher than that using traditional instruction significant at the .05 level. 4. Group process for the 10th grade students using flipped classroom techniques on web site was higher than that using traditional instruction significant at the .05 level.
