THE COMPARISON OF ADMINISTRATION APPLYING LOCAL WISDOM TO EDUCATIONMANAGEMENT BETWEEN THE ADMINISTRATORS WITH DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDKNOWLEDGE ON EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION AND TRAINING EXPERIENCES OFTHE PRIMARY SCHOOLS UNDER THE OFFICES OF PHRANAKHON SIAYUTTHAYA EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 1 AND 2
Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) to study the administrative processes of applying local wisdom to educational management among primary school administrators ; 2) to compare the administrative processes of applying local wisdom to educational management of primary school administrators who have different background knowledge on educational administration experiences ; 3) to compare the administrative processes of applying local wisdom to educational management of primary school administrators who have different training experiences ; 4) and to compare the administrative processes of applying local wisdom of primary school administrators who have different background knowledge on educational administration and training experiences.
The sampling groups of the research were 185 primary school administrators under the offices of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Educational Service Area 1 and 2 who have different background knowledge on educational administration and training experiences. The research instrument was a questionnaire with the reliability at 0.9745.
The data was analyzed by SPSS for Windows Version 12. The statistical analysis was performed in terms of percentage, means, standard deviation, and Two-Way Analysis of Variance. If a statistical significance was shown at 0.05, Games-Howells Post Hoc Analysis would be performed. The research results were as follows :
1. It was found that the administrative processes in applying local wisdom to education management when it was viewed as a whole or individually was at a high level. They were organizational management, coordination, using power or motivation, planning, and evaluation, ranking from the highest to the lowest.
2. No difference existed in administrative processes to apply local wisdom to educational management between the primary school administrators with different background knowledge on educational administration.
3. It was revealed that the primary school administrators with different training experiences had the administrative processes in applying local wisdom to education management differently. The school administrators who attended training courses of 0-5 times used less administrative processes in applying local wisdom to education management than those who attended training courses more than 5 times when it was considered as a whole.
4. It was showed no difference in administrative processes to apply local wisdom to education management between the primary school administrators with different background knowledge on educational administration and training experiences when it was considered as a whole.
