The study of project-base learning in Chinese teaching: a case study of Phanphittayakhom School Chiang Rai
Abstract:
The objectives of this study were: 1) to examine the students ability on Project-base learning in order to compare the development on reading skill before and after for teaching and learning Chinese for Thai students 2) to investigate students satisfaction towards implementation of Project-base learning .This study recruited 30 students in mathayom 6 Phanphittayakhom school for the sample group to participate in this pre-test and post-test research design. The data was analyzed using t-test, mean, and standard deviation. The findings showed that: Firstly, the result of An Experimental Study of Project-base learning in Chinese teaching also proved ang suppost the new pattern of Chinese teaching.The researcher found that an experimental study of Project-base learning in Chinese teaching compose with all activities which allows student to do with of Project-base learning the student gets all success through the Project-base processing when they study their wroks reflex the bost and suitable teaching is Project-base learning.Beside they can impove and evaluave with learning by doing they can make their own construotive knowledge as well However this research also better their outcomes and improve their Chinese too Secondly, pre-test and post-test results showed that the students mean post-test score was 37 and S.D. was 5.83 while the pretest score was 16.07 and S.D. was 5.26T-test analysis showed that the posttest score was significantly higher than those of the pretest at a significant level of .05. The findings indicated that Project base learning could improve the students achievement in learning Chinese. Finally, the students satisfaction mean score towards cooperative learning was rated at 4.68 which indicated that the students were satisfied with Project base learning for teaching and learning Chinese. and showed that this teaching method could developed the student ' s achievement.
