Abstract:
The purposes of thisresearch were: 1) to study efficiency of the computer assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students to meet the criteria set 80/80 ; 2) to computer the learning achievement of students between before and after learning by using the the computer - assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students; 3) to investigate the effectiveness index of the learning by usingthe computer assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students ; and 4) to study satisfactionof studnts towards leaning by using computer assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students. The samples of this study were Matthayomsuksa 3 students in first semester, 2015 fromPhonngampittayanukool School PhonNgam Sub district, KosumPhisai district, Mahasarakham province. The Secondary Education Service Area Office 26. The sample were 30 people using Sample Random Sampling by Lottery. The research instruments consisted of : 1) A set of the computer assisted instruction by constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students; 2) 7 lesson plans on critical reading by constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students; 3) a 30 item achievement test with 4 multiple choice the computer assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students with the difficulty between 0.27 to 0.60, and the reliability of 0.852 ; 4) a 16 items with 5 rating scale questionnaire asking the students satisfaction. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, standard deviation, E1/E2, and E.I. The hypotheses was tested by Dependent Sample t-test.
The results were as follows:
1. The efficiency of the computer assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students was 81.05/83.44 which was higher than the criteria set at 80/80.
2. The effectiveness index of learning by using the computer assisted instruction on critical reading by using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 students was 0.6518 which revealed that the students learning achievement increased 65%.
3. The student leaning achievement after learning by using computer assisted instruction on critical reading using constructivism theory for matthayomsuksa 3 students was higher than before learning at the significant difference level of .05
4. The Satisfaction of student towards learning byusing computer assisted instruction on critical reading using constructivism theory for Matthayomsuksa 3 studentsas a whole was at a high level.
