Abstract: The purposes of this research were as follows : 1) to study the commitment to the institutes and job satisfaction of the instructors of the Faculties of Education, Rajabhat Institutes in North-Eastem Thailand ; 2) to find out the correlation between the commitment to institutes and job satisfaction of instructors of the Faculties of Education, Rajabhat Institutes in North-Eastem Thailand ; and 3) to compare the commitment to the institutes and job satisfaction of instructors of the Faculties of Education, Rajabhat Institutes in North-Eastem Thailand in accordance with their sex, salaries, education, academic ranks and experiences. The population consisted of 366 instructors of the Faculties of Educatioin of all Rajabhat Institutes in North-Eastem Thailand in the academic year 1998. The adapted questionnaire was employed for data collection. Mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson's Product Moment Correlation, t-test and F-test were eniployed for data analysis. The major findings were as follows : 1) Instructors' commitment to the institutes and their job satisfaction were at high level. 2) The correlation between job satisfaction and the commitment to the institutes was positive and statistically significant at .O1 level.3) The instructors of different sex, salaries, level of education, academic ranks and experiences were not different in the levels of their commitment to the institutes and job satisfaction.
