Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to examine behavior of safe bike riding among riders of CBR Club, Chanthaburi and to compare their safe bike riding behavior as classified by age, highest level of education, occupation, bike riding experience, bicycle engine size, and regular biking distance of riders in CBR Club, Chanthaburi. The subjects participating in this study were 104 riding members of CBR Club, Chanthaburi who were recruited by a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included percentage, means, and standard deviation. Also, the test of t-test was administered to compare the differences between independent variables with two groups; and the test of One-way ANOVA was used to compare the differences among independent variables more than two groups. In addition, the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) was administered to test the differences between pairs with a preset of a significant level at .05. The results of the study revealed that the behavior of safe bike riding among riders of CBR Club, Chanthaburi was found at a high level. Also, based on the results from the comparisons, it was shown that there were no statistically significant differences in behavior of safe bike riding among riders of CBR Club, Chanthaburi who had different age and biking distance. Finally, statistically significant differences were found in behavior of safe bike riding among riders with different educational level, occupation, biking experience, and bicycle engine size at a significant level of .05.
