Abstract:
In this paper, system simulation of a standard vapor-compression refrigeration unit using R12 as a refrigerant is presented. From experimental data, modelling equations are established for three main components of the system which are compressor, condenser and evaporator. Performance of the system and the power required at the compressor are simulated at different refrigeration loads and operating conditions. Results agree quite well with those of the experiments
