Integrating mobile blended English pronunciation activities to enhance pronunciation ability of first year students at Mae Fah Luang University
Abstract:
The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of using mobile blended English pronunciation activities to enhance students pronunciation ability and explore students attitude towards studying with the mobile blended English consonants pronunciation activities. The participants were 20 first-year non-English major students at Mae Fah Luang University. The data collection instruments were the English consonant pronunciation survey, the semi-structured interview, mobile blended English consonant pronunciation activities (MBECPA), pre and post pronunciation tests and the questionnaire. The findings indicated that the mobile blended English consonants pronunciation activities were effective to enhance students pronunciation ability. In addition, students had positive attitudes toward the mobile blended English consonants pronunciation activities as well.
